Supabase logs (for debugging and analytics)
Device information (such as model, OS version, and general usage activity)
Location data (approximate or precise, when enabled) — used to help you find nearby meetings, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers
Optional Uploads — If you upload or update your profile photo, that image is stored securely in Supabase storage.
3. How We Use Your Information
To create and personalize your user profile
To help locate nearby recovery meetings, hospitals, and rehab facilities
To improve app performance and fix issues (via Supabase logs)
To maintain account authentication and basic functionality
You can use the App’s local features (such as nearby meeting searches) without creating a profile or sharing personal data.
4. Data Storage and Sharing
All personal data and uploads are securely stored in Supabase, a trusted cloud database and storage service.
Your information is not shared with advertisers or sold to third parties.
Access is limited to you and the developer (Matthew Schardt) for legitimate operational purposes.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
Non-profile users’ local data remains stored on their device only and is not transmitted to our servers.
6. Security
All communications use HTTPS encryption.
Supabase data is protected with industry-standard authentication and encryption.
Sensitive information such as passwords (if applicable) is hashed and never stored in plain text.
7. Children’s Privacy
Recovery Companion is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
